Robert & Alex enjoy helping people reach their potential, by finding their identity in Christ. Married since 2013, they have worked to build a complete, loving, Christ centered home to raise their family. “God called us to help young adults in college find themselves and we have since dedicated our efforts to reaching not only young adults, but also teens find their way. Our top priority is loving people regardless of age, background, ethnicity, or social standing with the pure love of Christ. This desire to love, as Jesus loves us, fuels our passion to impact our community of Texas City. We believe that we can do nothing apart from God. Come grow in Christ with us!”

In 2009, God lead Aurora and her family to Texas City First Assembly. “I had been going to a small Hispanic church since birth and stayed for 24 years. Spanish hymns or “coritos” is all I knew. God had other plans and changed my direction at the age of 24. I instantly fell in love with the Christ like family atmosphere at TC 1st. I was then asked by my pastor’s wife to join their praise team. Months later, I was asked to take lead of the entire worship team. I’ve evolved into who I am today because of God’s wisdom and those I get to share the platform with week after week.” Worship is not about our performance for God; its about the performance of God in us.

Mary Beth Allen, Event Planning Director & Bloom Women’s Ministry Director
Mary Beth has been raised in church her entire life, accepting Jesus as her Lord and savior at the age of 8 years old. Even as a young child, church involvement was something that her parents instilled in her and her brother, so helping others get connected has always been very important to her. Mary Beth began helping with the TC First Women’s Ministry in 2022 by hosting seasonal “Crafternoons” that started with only 7 ladies and within a years time were running close to 30 attendees for each event! Mary Beth has been married to her husband Mitch since 2006, and is the proud Mama of a beautiful daughter, Rylee, and step-mom to her three bonus children, Bryan, Morgan & Madison. She understands the everyday struggles and responsibilities of being a full-time working wife, mom & devoted Christian, all while trying to squeeze in a little time for yourself. She is very excited for the future of “Bloom” and looks forward to growing this ministry with the lovely ladies of TC First!
Angie Imerito, TC First Nursery Co-Director
Angie is excited to be given the opportunity to teach the word of god to the younger generation of our church. She has always had a passion for working with kids, having worked with all ages from a daycare to college. On July 6th 2014, God led Angie to TC First. After a few short months she became an official member and it was at that time she felt led to the nursery and to love on the children of our church.When I’m not working, you can find me scrapbooking, taking photos or hanging out with friends and family.
